Guaranteed Farm Income welched as nonsense by Manitoba minister
Manitoba Agriculture Minister Sam Uskiw dismissed the idea of a guaranteed annual income for the prairie grain industry as nonsense. He told about 400 farmers at the annual farm outlook conference that income stability cannot work on a regional basis and must target individual farmers.
