Lynden defeats Everson 17 to 14 in a 10 inning Nooksack Valley League contest at Everson. The Lynden dressing station of the Washington Co operative Egg and Poultry Association sent three thousand poultry and two hundred cases of Lynden eggs eastward on Wednesday. A second car will depart today as Manager Wills pursues rapid throughput and dry picking of eleven hundred birds completed Tuesday.

Funeral services held for Mrs E Top in Freewater
Funeral services were conducted at the Reformed Church in Freewater for Mrs. E Top mother of Gerrit Top of Lynden. She was born April 9 1852 in Pella Iowa married E Top in 1870 and lived in Nebraska and South Carolina before moving to Freewater in 1901. She leaves two sons two daughters twenty four grandchildren and one great grandchild. A son was born May 19 to Mr and Mrs Richard R Zylstra.
