Funeral services for John Burgraff planned this afternoon
Funeral services will be held at 1 30 this afternoon at Knapps Parlor for John Burgraff who died suddenly Saturday evening at his Ten Mile home. The Rev A J Brink and Rev W O Benadom will conduct. Burgraff 63 was born in Pella Iowa and moved to Lynden sixteen years ago with his family. He married Mary Kortlever at age 35. He leaves a widow and twelve children.

Muyskens Boy Drowns in Everett Fishing Incident

Lynden cow tops butter output in seven-day test
One Holstein cow owned by A. Benson of Lynden produced over 25 pounds of butter in seven days per the bulletin of Reported Tests of Holstein-Friesian Cows. Pompey Pietertje Princess 2nd, six years eight months old, yielded 661 pounds of milk and 20 pounds of butter fat in seven days, equal to 25 pounds of butter.
