Large funeral draws many friends for Mrs. Rinehart
A large gathering attended the Knapp's Parlor services Friday for Mrs. John A. Rinehart who died in a Bellingham hospital on February 25. The Rev. W. O. Benadom officiated. Amelia Carlson born October 25, 1888 in Winnipeg married John A. Rinehart January 20, 1909 at Everett. Five children were born, one died in infancy. Surviving are her husband four children her parents Mr. and Mrs. C. Carlson of Lynden and a Seattle sister.

Lynden Teams Fall to Whatcom Five in Week Games

A Lynden Library fundraising drive launches this week to establish permanent annual support. Funeral services for Mrs W A Fisher Friday
Mrs. Wil liam A. Fisher will be laid to rest at Knapp's Parlors Friday at one o'clock with Rev W O Benadoin officiating. She died Wednesday of pneumonia after influenza at her home. Interment will be in Portland Oregon. She leaves husband the Lynden school superintendent one son William Jr and her parents Dr and Mrs William Rees of Portland who have been in Lynden for a week.

Vernon Bixby Dies After Two Years of Illness
Vernon Charles Bixby former Lynden resident died in a Banning California sanatorium Monday after a nearly two year illness. He was 22. Services will be held Sunday at Lynden cemetery. He attended Lynden schools Whatcom High and the Normal School and served ten months overseas with the coast artillery before contracting the fatal disease. He is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs Frank Bixby a brother Earl of Mount Vernon two sisters Florence teaching at Beach Lummi Island and Marian of Bellingham. Grandparents Mr and Mrs Charles Jacobs reside in Lynden.
