Two Lynden families enjoyed Christmas with new Sedans delivered by u. W. Robertson at the Jacob Stop and FE Zweegman homes. Robertson also supplied a touring car to Walter Miller and a Sedan to W. D. Bree last week. The Le Cocq family gathered all their sons for the holiday including Irwin and Frank, city engineer in Aberdeen and Marion and John at Oregon Medical School, plus Gideon in Seattle. A New Year’s Eve party was planned by Mrs. N. Boerhave and Mrs. Walter Hemingway at the Boerhave millinery. Miss Alice Troost remained in critical condition at St Joseph’s in Bellingham. Miss Hattie Bovenham returned from Seattle for the holidays.

U S Customs Office Reopened in Lynden
The U S customs office is reestablished in Lynden after years of discontinuation. Paul O Dolstad, formerly at Sumas, is transferred to Lynden to head the district and will work from the G W Robertson Ford Garage until permanent quarters are ready.
