Grayland June an English setter belonging to D W Alverson of Lynden captured multiple ribbons at Vancouver Dog Show the Northwest's leading event. Her triumph earns her English Champion status by attaining ten points under three judges. She took first open first limit winners and a special prize for best in show. Funeral services for Alanson Gifford Hyatt
Funeral services for Alanson Gifford Hyatt were held Friday at the M E Church with Rev W O Benadom officiating and the Masonic Lodge in charge at the cemetery. Hyatt, born January 16 1847 in Erie County Pennsylvania, married Matilda Grumman May 1 1876 in Creston Ohio and came to the Lynden district 31 years ago. He is survived by his widow and one son W E Hyatt.
