American Pilot Missing After Skyraider Crash

A U S Air Force pilot Lt. George E. Flynn II and a Vietnamese crewman bailed out when two Skyraider planes were shot down by Viet Cong near Rach Gia. The Vietnamese pilot was rescued. Flynn is missing and presumed captured. Other Skyraiders aided in striking Viet Cong positions. guard garrison at Long Phu repelled a night attack with casualties and arms recovered. Labor unrest also flared as 3,000 Bien Hoa rubber workers struck for higher wages and rice.

Youth found bound near railway tracks in England

A 17 year old student from an exclusive boys school was found bound and gagged near a rail line in Lanford England. He had both feet severed and was in fair condition after being struck by a train. Police consider possible school hazing and urge witnesses to come forward.

Threat To East Bases as Hurricane Gladys Passes Offshore
