Rain cut the final day short but shows remained steady with 13 731 visitors and 30 158 for the week’s holiday on ice. Damage floods Clarksville business district from flash flood
In Clarksville Texas a flash flood soaked the main business district after Delaware Creek rose during heavy rains. An estimated 50 000 to 75 000 dollars in damage left 735 residents temporarily homeless as homes were cleaned out and residents moved back in. Some houses were washed away and others carried downstream. County Judge Gavin Watson noted ongoing homelessness but most affected had secured shelter.
