Texas Tech erased a slow start to dominate the second half beating Arizona 27 to 7 before 17,000 fans at Jones Stadium. Lonnie Graham scored the go ahead TD at 13 56 of the third quarter, Don Williams added the extra point, then Jim Sides and Buddy Hill finished the scoring with two yard and one yard runs. Buddy Hill, son of Volney Hill, fueled Tech offense with two TD drives and a score. Arizona’s Art Luppino opened with a 45 yard run and extra point to lead 7 0 before the comeback.
