Father and Daughter Die in Head On Crash Near Chardon
A 63-year-old man Arch R. Kimmick and his married daughter Marilyn May were killed in a head on collision south of Chardon Ohio. Each was driving to separate errands when their cars crashed. The elder man was en route to a filling station for water after his farm well ran dry. May had left home to buy groceries.

Funeral Services Set Monday for Mrs. George M. Boles
Mrs. George M. Boles 81, pioneer Lubbock County resident, died Saturday at her home seven miles southeast of Lubbock after months of illness. Funeral services will be Monday at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. J. Ralph Grant and Rev. J. F. Nix officiating. Burial is in Lubbock Cemetery under Rix Funeral Home. She came to Lubbock County in 1891 and left four of seven children, a sister, two brothers, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Her husband died March 7, 1951. See Pioneer Page 14.
