Catching the fox by outfoxing it on a Texas farm

Ken Bozeman recalls trapping tricks from his Oklahoma days to outwit foxes raiding his Cornish game roosters. He sets baited steel traps with a camouflaged cover and labels one trap open to teach the fox a memory of the highway through his tunnel. A fox is captured alive and released as a lesson in fox control. The piece also notes regional wildlife notes from Texas on lesser prairie chickens, sand bass hatching, and crow migrations affecting Panhandle counties.
