Tilak leads Ceylon youth rebels against Colombo
In Sri Lanka a guerrilla figure called Tilak trains youths for jungle warfare and vows to take Colombo within three years. He cites a rebel strength of 10 000 to 48 000 and names Rohana Wijewera and Mahinda Wisfesekera as leaders jailed in Kyets Prison. He criticizes the Bandaranaike coalition for slow socialism and blames atrocities on both sides in the island insurrection.
