Thai cotton buyers see South Plains as key supplier
A four member Bangkok delegation led by Bodiratangkura of Thailand said South Plains cotton fits Thai mills. They noted West Texas cotton supplies about 200000 bales annually with spindles rising toward 900000 by 1970 and described Thailand’s growing textile industry. They plan tours of PCCA operations and farm coops and will travel to Washington and New York before returning May 12.
