Democratic candidates Yarborough Briscoe visit Lubbock
Two Democratic gubernatorial hopefuls Yarborough and Briscoe touched down in Lubbock for last minute campaigning. Yarborough arrived at 11 30 a m delayed by crowds and held a noon luncheon. Briscoe landed at 1 45 p m and spoke to about 25 supporters at the airport. Both touted growing momentum and planned follow up stops in Amarillo Littlefield Hereford and the Dallas Fort Worth area.
