Auto Firms Agree To Work On Safety Device Pricing
Washington AP major automakers agreed to consult with the Bureau of Labor Statistics to develop data on the price to the public of auto safety devices required by federal standards. Arjay Miller of Ford presented the plan to a Senate subcommittee led by Sen. Ribicoff with Chrysler and American Motors reps present. GM indicated willingness to participate.
