Air Force Wife's Global Life Charts 30 Years of Moves
Mrs. Robert Laliberte, stationed with her Air Force officer husband, has lived in most U S states and abroad in Europe and the Far East. The family boasts four years in San Bernardino as their longest posting and two years in Japan after World War II. They also spent extended periods in Woodbridge and Wethersfield England. She values travel, meeting people, and learning local history and culture. In Japan she says locals sketched her outfits and hair, later recreating the western look. They enjoyed camping in caravans across the British Isles and visit castles, museums, and planetariums. While in England she volunteered with Red Cross and joined women’s institutes exchanges.
