Clovis Area Hit by Flooding and Hail Storms

Heavy storms swept through the Clovis Melrose and Lubbock regions with up to three inches of rain and hail up to an inch in diameter. Clovis streets flooded two to three inches, an Army reserve unit stacked sandbags downtown, and an underpass on Highway 70 was submerged.

About 10 000 one dollar bills with mismatched serial numbers have circulated after a seven year error. Murray Cleared Of Criminal Violation by Grand Jury

Former Texas Railroad Commissioner William J.
