Hereford Votes on 590000 Water Bond Issue
Hereford residents will vote July 16 on a 590000 revenue bond for municipal water facilities. Mayor Ray Consert announced 310000 would fund water facilities for Wilson & Co. near the plant, with construction expected August. No tax increase is planned. Bonds would also develop a water field near the plant with three new wells and fund sewer farm improvements. Mary Ann Stone, daughter of Mr and Mrs James Stone of Post, is at Camp Arrowhead in Kerrville in charge of camp crafts this summer.
