Texas Tech expands textile research program and honors donors
The Texas Tech Board of Directors approved a 500000 expansion of the Textile Research Center aiming for a 1 million dollar per year study of cotton quality and related problems in the Plains. Four professors were named as first Horm professors while the board honored longtime leaders and a killed astronaut with dormitory namings.
