Ohio troopers nab California escapees at turnpike plaza
Fremont Ohio patrol units captured three California fugitives from the Atascadero State Hospital after a gunpoint escape. Gerald Gallant 28 and George Quinlan 25 were arrested near a service plaza on the Ohio Turnpike with four loaded weapons found in their car. Robert Higuera 30 was seized at Pismo Beach days earlier. Hostages released unharmed.
