Denver Quakes Linked to Army Waste Well Theory
Denver geologist David Evans ties a long sequence of earthquakes to a 12 045 foot waste disposal well at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. He notes pumping began in 1962 and records show quakes intensifying after and during disposal. Army plans to pump out 160 million gallons of waste next month to test the theory.
