Railroad Commission Lowers Texas Oil Allowable to 44.8 Percent
The Texas Railroad Commission cut August oil allowable to 44.8 percent of potential, down 1.6 points from July and the lowest since 40.8 in December. Seven major buyers asked for less oil, six for the same, and Pure Oil Co. sought an increase from 59,855 to 63,125 barrels per day.
