Key73 Initiative Aims to Unite U S Christianity in Yearlong Drive
The Key73 interdenominational movement, began at Christmas noon and runs through the year, uniting about 150 denominations and organizations. Leaders from United Methodist, Baptist, Catholic and other groups forecast a global tidal wave of renewed faith via prayers, media outreach, scripture distribution, and community events. The plan emerged from a 1967 consultation and seeks to present the gospel to every American while allowing diverse denominations to participate without compromising their practices.
