Man Survives 70-Foot Fall at Tulia Elevator

Butler couple killed in two-vehicle crash near Floydada

A crash nine miles east of here on U. S. 62 left Floydada couple Henry and Addie Butler dead. Addie 63 suffered multiple cuts and bruises. Clyde Johnson of Sherman drove the other truck unhurt. Funeral services for Butler were planned at Moore Funeral Home. Also noted a large Urban Renewal grant and loan for Stanton, Texas.

Humphrey reports India Kosygin talk on world affairs

Vice President Humphrey said he and Soviet Premier Kosygin discussed mutual concerns and the global situation during their India visit.
