Traffic Zoning Showdown At 19th College Intersection
City council debated two zoning changes for College Ave and 19th St including a plan for 450 paved off street parking spaces and a land dedication along College Ave. Opponents argued 450 spaces are excessive while supporters cited city widening plans and potential future land sales as justification. Proposals also covered multiple housing and commercial zoning requests with varied opposition.
