Woman Dies In Car-Bus Crash Near Waco Inter State 35
A Greyhound bus and an automobile collision at an entry ramp to Interstate 35 in Lorena, eight miles south of Waco, left Louise Moon dead at 42 and 14 others injured. Car driver Louis Moon, 42, and passenger Jimmy Rhymes, 55, were critically hurt, while bus driver Clifton Nutt, 42, of Dallas, was in satisfactory condition. Several bus passengers were treated at local hospitals.

Father Is Found Shot To Death
In Dallas AP reports the body of Robert Ryan aged 42 was found in his parked car shortly after his daughter Colleen Ryan aged 21 was shot dead at a East Dallas drive in restaurant where she worked as a carhop. Police say a man fired three shots at Colleen. Ren Ryan had been placed under a peace bond about a month earlier at Colleen’s request. Verdicts in the two deaths were withheld pending further investigation.

Fire Fatalities Reported In San Antonio Home Blaze Near Park
A man and a woman died in an early morning fire that destroyed a $16,000 home near Brackenridge Park in San Antonio. Betty Jean Trader, 27, and Antone John Rockovitch, 32, a Knowltons Dairy milkman, were identified as victims. Fire officials said asphyxiation may have preceded the burns.
