Abilene oilman Richard Hall died of a self inflicted gunshot wound Tuesday night on his third wedding anniversary. A justice of the peace ruled the death was a personal safety matter. Hall, president of Condor Petroleum Co., shot himself after instructing his wife he would do so, police said. He is brother of Midland racer and builder Jim Hall.
