Thirteen Convicts Escape Michigan Prison In Mass Flight

Thirteen convicts escaped from Southern Michigan Prison triggering a wild chase across Jackson. Two Die As Car Crashes Into Bus Near Nolanville

Two people die and two are injured when a car on wet pavement collides with a Southwest Transit Co. bus between Ft. Hood and Temple near Nolanville. Lubbock Man Critically Injured After Auto Collision

J S Brashear aged 19? was critically injured when struck in the 2100 block of Broadway near FE in the early morning. He suffered head injuries and a compound fracture of the left leg and was taken to Lubbock Memorial Hospital by Rix Ambulance. Driver was Roland Ray Adams of 412 Guava.
