Ruby Attorneys Seek Dismissal of Federal Appeal
New Orleans attorneys for Jack Ruby asked the 5th Circuit to drop his federal appeal stating state actions remedied major issues. They said dismissal would not block Ruby’s right to pursue death penalty appeal in Texas. They also cited judges’ actions in the original proceedings. In London, UPI reports 582000 American visitors to Britain in nine months, up 15 percent from last year.
