ENMU Dean Dies In One Car Crash Near Ruidoso
Dr. Gary R. Anderson 32 dean of students at Eastern New Mexico University was killed in a one car crash about 15 miles east of Portales near the San Patrician community on US 70. The car overturned twice after losing control on a curve. The driver Craig Ezell 20 from Falls Church Va was treated and discharged. Anderson died of head and neck injuries at ENMU Medical Center Roswell. ENMU President Dr Charles W Meister said the university community is shocked and saddened.

Baseball pioneer Branch Rickey dies at 85 in Missouri
