A five year old girl named Teresa Bingham was found asleep in a car in the garage of her Southwest Lubbock home at 11 00 p m after a five hour search that involved more than ten police cars and fifteen Citizens Band Radio Club vehicles. Neighbors also organized a search party.
Dallas oilman Donald I. Dennis filed a 300000 damage suit against Tennessee Gas Transmission Co. alleging arrest on oil map theft charges and claiming he was denied food during a two day Houston jail confinement.
