Trains Strike Van Killing Crowther and Son

In a collision near a crossing a 52 year old Floydada freight train struck a small van carrying 16 year old Carl Crowther and his father. Crowther died at the scene and the incident prompted officials to search for a second possible victim after witnesses described near misses with another car prior to impact.
