Chattanooga reports a Whitfield County Georgia grand jury probe into the Bonhannon gang reveals a $109,000 theft spree spanning years. Indictments target Daltons' leading merchants and town officials for complicity while robbers peddled goods through railroad routes and local traders.

Harvey Pratt three years old son of Frederick A Pratt was severely burned Friday night while helping friends feed a bonfire in Daniel Emersons yard at 114 London Street. He slipped and fell onto the flames as he tried to throw leaves onto the fire. Mrs Emerson was burned on the hands while rushing to aid the boy. The child was carried home where care was given and his condition this morning was as favorable as could be expected.
Harry Cook, of London street, was thrown from a wagon on Gorham street opposite the court house, wheels passing over his right thigh causing a compound fracture. Joseph Young, 40 Hampshire street, narrowly escaped after colliding with an engine at Thorndike street crossing at 11.10 am, suffering internal injuries. Charles McFadden, 12, fell from a freight car in a freight yard last night and was taken home to Blossom street with a broken arm.
From Concord New Hampshire a Union special reports the Concord and Montreal railroad stockholders will convene next Tuesday at 11 30 AM in White's Opera House. The meeting will hear the board report and elect directors for the coming year. The oldest sister of charity in the United States and longtime superior of St. Joseph's orphan asylum in Philadelphia died at the asylum on Friday at age 85. During the Civil War she served as an army nurse, offering comfort to many dying soldiers.
