Patrick Corcoran a noted mason contractor died from brain concussion after a fall near Jackson and Central streets when a wheel snagged a car track switch. He collapsed, was treated at a drug store then St John hospital, and died about 6 oclock this morning. He built the Immaculate Conception and St Jean Baptiste churches. His home is 40 Fort Hill avenue. He leaves two daughters a son and a brother Peter also a mason. The son Patrick formerly worked at Cassidys and a daughter also worked in a dry goods store. His wife had died several years ago.
Judge Hadley released two. three paid $2. Frank Monro jailed after spending his coin for rum. Mary Keep and Annie Nelson paid $5 but jailed for lack of bail. Moran to work house four months. Fitzpatrick and Lahey five months. Carroll continued to Nov 17, jailed in default of $200. Germain case continued to Nov 19 held in $200. Ducharme held in $200 for hearing on Nov 18.
