Coroner Higgins files verdict on the Falls Village incident. Mrs. Chapin was shot by Meade, who then killed himself. The revolver used was Meade's.
John Henderson and his son Percy died from severe burns suffered in a Wheeling fire this morning. James S Brady remains in critical condition unable to recover from his injuries.

In the Police court on March 3 Justus Cook was found guilty of writing policy slips and carrying a dangerous weapon and fined 200 dollars. He appealed and was held for the Superior court in 500 dollars bail. Other defendantsreceived fines for drunkenness and firearms incidents, while two assault cases were continued to March 4.
George A. Murphy senior partner of Murphy and Bingham livery stables in Middlesex street died at 60 Westford street after paralysis shocks at the stable and home. Born in Lowell, he earlier worked as an auctioneer with J. E. Conant & Co and had nine years in the livery trade. Also noted were the deaths of Mrs. Hattie Murphy of Billerica Centre at age 32 years and Miss Annie L Paul of East Merrimack street at age 19.
A pretty wedding occurred in Boge ton at noon uniting Mr. Chris Holmes of this city and Miss Nevia M Hayden of Boston. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Charles A Dickinson. There were no wedding cards.
