Reconsideration Refused in City Council Vote on Bridge
During last night’s session the Common Council confirmed Patrick H. Gaffney as lumber surveyor and approved sewer and sidewalk projects. A key vote struck a conference with the upper board over city stables funding, while a motion to appoint a conference committee failed. Pierre A. Brousseau was ordered removed as council president and the action was laid on the table. An order to borrow $6000 for Pawtucket Bridge repayment was reconsidered and rejected.
