A Lowell native educated at Exeter and Harvard Law, he chose poetry and art, wrote Monadnock and Philoctetes, and last published the life of Governor Greenhalge. The obituary recalls his family lineage and civic ties.
The funeral of Chas Miller occurred from the Edson cemetery chapel yesterday. Miller, employed fifteen years by E. D. Shadduck Co, was well known. company associates closed their office and attended. Bearers included Wm Dickson Wm OConnor Chas Irish and P H Shadduck. Rev Hinckle led services. Interment by Undertaker Brooks. The funeral of Michael Flynn was held yesterday at St Peters Church with Rev Fr Mullen officiating. Lingage led by T F Molloy. bearers were Post 120 G A R members. Burial followed at the Catholic cemetery with Undertaker McDermott in charge.
