Plunkett works on the Merrimac and is believed to be in the city today. another local John Plunkett from West Chelmsford is about 30. Police were not notified.

Yesterday a boy named Willie Leach fell from a window at Parker’s bobbin shop, suffering a broken left arm at the wrist. his father, an overseer, took him to Dr Burnham for treatment.
A 709 seat tent is offered to Lowell evangelical churches by Rev. J Gray and Rev. Sayer. Pastors are asked to meet at the Y M C A at 4 pm to discuss setting the tent on a public space for nightly July services and Sunday services for the rest of the month. The Pentecostal band of religious workers may assist if secured.
