Paris January 16 M Loew president of the court of cassation criminal branch says about three weeks will pass before a public hearing on the Dreyfus case. He also declared that the court does not possess documents said to be furnished by Esterhazy. the claim is inaccurate.
Fitchburg January 16 Captain Fellows of Company B and Captain McDowell of Company D of the Sixth Massachusetts regiment U S W have been summoned to testify in the ongoing national discussion that grips prominent officials in Washington and across the country.

William B. Ryan of Lowell, driver for truck 3 on the Lowell fire department, died Saturday night at his home on Dunfey street. He had served with the department for many years and was the brother of former Councilman John J. Ryan.
Judge Fisher presided in police court as 13 Saturday and four Sunday drunks were processed. Sentences ranged from fines and probation to reformatory terms, with Eva Nichols appealing a 15 month sentence and Rose F. Wall receiving four months in the workhouse. A chicken theft charge against Annie Gray ended in a $1 fine, while Alfred Beaudreau and Mary Hamel faced $300 bonds on lewd cohabitation. Charles Mayotte, facing delirium tremens, remained under supervision with $200 bond.
