St Cecilia and Mozart quartettes performed with solo items by Miss Julia Kenney and James B Donnelly. A Dutch party plan was formed for Easter week and tickets for next Sunday’s orchestral concert were sold to benefit the hospital.
Despatch from Pittsfield N H reports the death of Asa C Osgood a longtime Lowell resident and former businessman. He had spent summers in Pittsfield and returned to Lowell for winters but stayed with relatives in Pittsfield due to illness after May departure.

It provides safety deposit boxes with private coupon rooms and a savings department offering 4 percent interest compounded semi annually with monthly starting. An exclusive ladies banking rooms section exists. The bank serves as a depository for the United States and Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Banking hours are 8 A M to 4 P M daily, Saturdays 8 A M to 11 P M and 7 to 9 P M. Banking rooms numbered 30 to 46 Middlesex Street and 11 to 24 Post Office Avenue.
Alfred Gywnie Van derbilt wed Elsie French at Zabriskie Memorial church in a seven minute ceremony. Reginald Vanderbilt served as best man with Gladys Vanderbilt as maid of honor. Clergymen Rev Beatty and Rev Morgan officiated. A wedding breakfast at Harbor View followed, provided by Delmonico.

Mary E. McCauley died at the city farm this morning after giving birth to a son. Convulsions from poverty likely caused death. She was found ill at 85 Suffolk Street Sunday and was moved to the farm. An elderly neighbor will care for her children William four and Madeline two. Probation Officer Slattery found $3 from her deserted husband in the day’s mail. Remaining funds total $13, rent covered to Feb 23. The infant survives and appears healthy.

In Paterson New Jersey on January 14 144 Walter C McAllister William A Death and Andrew Campbell were summoned to plead in the Jennie Bos schieter murder case. George J Kerr will face a separate trial with a large crowd present marking a notable early phase of the proceedings.
Hon Adna Brown a notable Vermont figure and town leader died this morning at age 72. He served in both houses of the state Legislature and was regarded as a leading citizen of Springfield. His death leaves a record of public service and local prominence.

John McGrade, a middle aged man, was jailed for attempted suicide after hanging and self harm attempts in his cell. Committees reviewing overflow space at Charles street school met Friday and urged the school board to lease the Wheelock property for ten years at eighteen dollars a month. The city would handle repairs costing between one thousand and fifteen hundred dollars, with ownership by A C Wheelock.
