The mutilated body of Miss Jane Brunnot a wealthy woman was found early today in a well on the Brunot farm near Pana Illinois and shortly after her sister in law Mrs Anna Brunot the latter's 19 year old son Henry and Frederick Sibley were arrested charged with the murder Miss Brunot lived at Dana Indiana and police say she was decoyed to the scene.
Agents Saunders arranged a new Middlesex mill schedule to start Monday morning. Spinners, about 750 workers, met with a committee and unanimously accepted the plan after explanations. Wages were paid today ahead of regular payday to prevent delays if the mill shut down.

Cook Taylor Co. on Central street announces 500 belt and sash buckles priced 49 to 99 cents, with bargains at 25 and 39 cents. Also showcased are chokers, string ties, bows, scarves, silk collars, kid gloves, corsets, ribbons, hosiery, and jersey underwear at low prices.
City hall heard Supt. Cheney demand John P. Green, a Civil War veteran and street department teamster, be discharged after a March 24 incident. Mayor Crowley presided as lengthy testimony detailed insults over a horse deal and heated exchanges among Cheney Read Walker Green and others, with no immediate ruling given.
City hall yesterday awarded multiple contracts through the supply department. P. P. Connors won a bid for 300,000 to 1,000,000 orricks at 6.10 per thousand and 1000 barrels of cement at 0.99 each. W. E. Livingston secured 100 barrels of Portland cement at 1.95 each. Staples Bros. won the sewer pipe bid, Doherty Bros. to furnish sewer castings at 1.84 per hundred. The electric wires committee met Friday night and voted to recommend 1200 dollars as the inspector salary. It also endorsed several pole locations requested by the Electric Light company. Inspector McElholm was appointed clerk of the committee.
The committee on electric wires will propose to the city council an additional appropriation of 1000 dollars for current and incidental expenses for the department. The inspector seeks 2000 dollars, wants a clerk and furniture and tools, but the committee rejects a clerk to economize. A burglary at Eugene G. Russell's real estate office 407 Middlesex street last night yielded 50 tagged keys, 724 cigars, postage and revenue stamps, a dark overcoat, and three desks emptied of valuables. Police urge vigilance for any sale of revenue stamps and to report suspicious activity.
Employees under Mr Russell’s agency are warned to take every precaution against robbery and protect assets. The notice emphasizes heightened vigilance and following security procedures.
Bridget McCabe and Joseph Daigle united in matrimony Tuesday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the parish house. Nellie Devine was bridesmaid and Howard Nichols best man. Julia Edwards widow of David Edwards died yesterday at her home 287 Lakeview avenue. She is survived by four daughters Ellen Butler Sarah Lear Annie Hewson and Mary Edwards and one son David Edwards. The body of James Grogan was sent to Hartford Connecticut where a brother resides. Aida B Candage 18 died Friday of consumption at her parents home 22 Bell avenue leaving a brother and sister Mrs J A Osgood and Ek Candage. Margaret Flemming widow of William Flemming died Friday night at 447 Market street aged 39 and leaves three children.
Funeral services were held for Mary Murphy who died April 19 in Cambridgeport with burial in a Catholic cemetery after a service at St Marys Church. Frank Callahan was buried following Mass at St Michaels Church with noted solos and choirs. James H McAnney’s funeral occurred this morning at St Michaels with same church music, burial in the Catholic cemetery.
Charles E. Hale left Cook Taylor Co to join A G Pollard Co. Mamie Donnelly will start at R H White Co Boston. Dr Horton Fay Underwood spoke on Osteopathy to a Newark women’s club. In New York names and venues listed. Frederick A. Thompson sang two songs at a Fitchburg Y M C A concert, praising The Song of Hybrias.
