W A Bartlett and Clarence V Williams, and afternoon sessions from 2 to 5 featuring Longing for God Abundant Life in God and Walking with God all the day led by Rev. Wm E Wolcott Rev. Frank R Shipman and others.
Rev John F Corcoran notes St Francis Orphan Asylum inmates enjoyed the Hyperion Passion Play with cinematograph music and a lecture. He thanks Dodge and others for rides and seats and says the experience offered recreation and meditation on Christ life. Inmates and Sisters invited to Friday Opera House matinee.
Rev F W Sprague of East Boston spoke at the First Universalist church during Lent on the life of Christ. He emphasized Jesus near the people and cited miracles such as healing lepers and purifying art, literature, religion, and human life, lifting men and women to a higher nobility.
Rev M H Harris of Worcester spoke at Grace Universalist church on a modern church using philanthropic effort to reach the unchurched. He urged unity through alliance of sects rather than fusion, citing New York philanthropy as proof. Tonight Rev Peter MacQueen of Somerville preaches on The Sympathetic Christ at 7 30 with good music.
The Rev. John A. Foster of St. Thomas church Methuen will preach this Wednesday evening at 7 20 o clock with services scheduled for that time.

The widow Mrs Martha H Stackpole of Dover New Hampshire mourns her sudden death at home while floral tributes mark the funeral held last Sunday. Charles W Merritt former pharmacist with F H Butler Co died last Friday in Asheville North Carolina at 35 after seeking health. Survived by widow and one son.
