The funeral of Martin J. Canning was held at 10 o'clock with Mass at St. Patrick's Church officiated by Rev Fr Leonard. Bearers included Matthew Whelton Thos J Sullivan Thos Boyle Foresters P F Cox John Fitz Gerald and John Tweed. Burial followed in Catholic cemetery under J F O Donnell supervision.
