Disturbance at Jackson Avenue Church Reported
Bill Musick reported to the Lovington Police a disturbance at the revival on Jackson Avenue Saturday night. A Church of Christ minister brought teenage boys to the Jackson Avenue Church for an all night prayer meeting and settled them in but remained outside. The youths argued inside, then reported to the minister who gave further instructions. Church officials filed complaints at the sheriff’s office but statutes were unclear. the matter was sent to the district attorney to contact Musick. Court session begins today with assignments expected. no names were available for those charged due to lack of details.

Lovington Concert Drive Opens Week of Tickets
The Northern Lea County Concert Association kicked off a ticket drive at 7:00 P.M. in the Municipal School Cafeteria with over 130 attendees.
