Car Crash Claims Life Of Elba Miller In Hobbs
Elba H. Miller, 1505 Gila Drive Hobbs, died Sunday at 11 10 p m after a collision on Yorks Street involving his 1953 Ford four door sedan and a 1953 Buick driven by Marvin Ewing. Ewing was uninjured. Miller was ejected and died at the scene. Mrs Miller, hospitalized since Saturday, and the Miller family have resided in Hobbs for about three years. Griffin Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Roy Montgomery Glover died suddenly in the bunk house at Sawyer Ranch near Crossroad New Mexico between 10:00 and 12:00 A M Sunday. He likely died of a heart attack and had worked at the ranch for three years. He lived in Lea County for fifteen years.
