Roswell reports shipments of wool this year the greatest ever from the region, up about 500000 pounds from 1911. Year to date exports exceed 3900000 pounds, with expectations to reach four million for the year. Growers within a hundred miles, especially northwest near the Rock Island, haul wool to Roswell for market as prices rise.
