Lordsburg Mavericks Roll Colts 38 to 0 in Friday Night Contest
Lordsburg dominated the Colt defense for most of the game and topped them 38 to 0. Leroy Wagner and Ken Wagner led Maverick rushes while Rudy Vasquez connected for a 30 yard run. Colts were held scoreless through the third quarter and threw an interception on offense. The Mavericks travel next to Deming to face the Wildcats.

Robbers Receive Prison Sentences
James Griffin and Robert E. Espie pleaded guilty to robbery by force before District Judge Norman Hodges and were each sentenced to two to 10 years. They had prior robbery records and admitted participating in the Rankin’s Stop and Shop heist at 924 E Railroad Ave, which net $100.
