Leslie Harvell 78 of Lordsburg died September 5 1993 at Sunshine Haven Nursing Home in Lordsburg He was born February 25 1915 in Tamms Illinois and worked at Inspiration Mines Consolidated Aircraft Company Hidalgo Garage and Brown and Root Construction He was past Grand Chancellor of the Knights of Pythias A memorial service is set for September 8 1993 at First Baptist Church Lordsburg He is survived by wife Martha two sons Leslie and Charles plus siblings and seven grandchildren Memorials may go to the American Lung Association of New Mexico

Beltri, Lordsburg native, dies in Albuquerque hospital
Porfirio S Beltri known as Pilo, 61, a Lordsburg resident and US Air Force veteran who served in Korea and Vietnam, died Monday at the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque. Visitation begins Thursday at St Josephs Church with a 7 pm vigil, funeral Friday at 10 am, interment Shakespeare Cemetery. He is survived by his mother and sister, preceded by wife Juanita in 1973. The two-day obituary notes a later Lordsburg School Board meeting to tour CES Mobile Technology Vehicle at 7 pm Monday in the Central Administrative Office.
