Florida fugitive group sparks two police chases ending in death
A Florida car thieves group led to two high speed pursuits in Lordsburg. Ronnie Anderson and a juvenile were captured after hijacking a tractor trailer on I 10. Darvin Bamber and Richard Dandelski fled, engaging in a vehicle theft and gunfight, with Dandelski dying later in Tucson and Bamber wounded. Local officers Ward Waites Tavizon Rodriguez and Self were involved in the confrontations. Autopsy planned to determine Dandelski death cause.
