Another Driver Dozes Killing a Fourteen Month Old
A baby of one year died and three adults were injured when a driver fell asleep and overturned near Lordsburg on Interstate 10. Ronnie Joe Simpson a Louisiana man died. James Simpson 28 of Los Angeles and two women from Los Angeles were injured. The car carried 11 passengers including seven children. The crash occurred as the group traveled from Louisiana to Los Angeles. Simpson was cited for failure to use due caution. Highway deaths in the state for the year reached 229.
